How to fix a corrupted image

If your submission has been rejected due to your document image being ‘corrupted’, it may be due to a compatibility issue. Converting the image to JPEG format can help resolve this.

 

For Mac Users (macOS Preview)

  1. Open the image in Preview.
  2. Click File → Export.
  3. In the format dropdown, select JPEG.
  4. Save the exported file to your device.
  5. Re-enter your credential submission and replace the old document image with the new JPEG.

For Windows Users (Windows Photos App)

  1. Open the image in the Photos app.
  2. Click the Save as option.
  3. Choose JPEG as the file format.
  4. Save the new file.
  5.  Re-enter your credential submission and replace the old document image with the new JPEG.
