If either of your referees does not respond to your request, we will send them up to three reminder emails to complete your reference. If they still haven’t provided your reference after four days, you will be sent an email to nominate a new employment referee.
Simply click on the Start now button in the email. You will be directed to your SEEK Pass account, where you will be prompted to provide details for the new referee.
Alternatively, you can provide these details by signing into your SEEK Pass account and clicking Update on the Reference Check tile in your passport.
Depending on how many of your referees respond to your initial reference request, you will be able to nominate up to two additional employment referees.
Once references have been completed by two referees, we will notify you by email. The progress of each reference can also be viewed by clicking the View details button on the Reference Check tile in your passport.
