To verify your Australian Passport, SEEK Pass checks your Passport information against the official record holder or issuer.
Upon verifying the document you have provided, we have been informed that your document cannot contribute towards verification, likely due to one of the following reasons:
- You have been affected by the recent Optus and/or Medibank data breach and the record-holder or issuer has placed you on the Credential Protection Register as a preventative measure.
- The document is within its expiry but has been recorded as lost/stolen, the document has been superseded by a later issued document, the document is in transit, the document has been impounded.
- The document is more than 3 years past its expiry date.
- The document is a provisional travel document, issued in an emergency overseas.
If you would like to verify your Right to Work using your Australian Passport, please provide the latest issued version of your passport, making sure that it has not been recorded as lost, stolen or void.
If you would like more information about the status of your Australian Passport, we encourage you to contact the Department of Foreign Affairs directly, by visiting their dedicated Australian Passport Office page.
Alternatively, you can verify your Right to Work using an Australian Birth Certificate or Australian Citizenship Certificate, providing the document is the most recent and valid document, not voided or recorded as lost or stolen.
