When an employer invites you to complete a Reference Check, you will receive an email from SEEK Pass asking you to nominate your referees. If you have an Australian or New Zealand mobile number on your SEEK Profile, you may also receive an SMS notification of your invitation. Please note that SEEK Pass does not send SMS notifications to mobile numbers that are registered outside of Australian and New Zealand.
If you have an Australian number
The sender ID for a legitimate SEEK Pass SMS will be SEEKPASS and the message will contain a secure link that takes you directly to the Reference Check flow to nominate your referees by logging in to your SEEK Pass account.

The sender ID for a legitimate SEEK Pass SMS will be 2901 and the message will contain a secure link that takes you directly to the Reference Check flow to nominate your referees by logging in to your SEEK Pass account.

Please contact our Support team immediately if you receive an SMS notification that:
is sent to a mobile number registered outside of Australia or New Zealand
has a different sender ID to those listed above
has a sender ID that does not match your country
requests personal information or documentation
If you receive a message that is suspicious, do not click on any links in it.
