I have received an SMS to provide a reference, is it legitimate?

When a candidate nominates you as a referee, you will receive an email from SEEK Pass requesting your reference. If you have an Australian or New Zealand phone number and the candidate has provided this, you may also receive an SMS notification.

If you have an Australian number, the sender ID for the message will be SEEKPASS:

If you have a New Zealand number, the sender ID will be 2901:
