When an employer invites you to complete a Reference Check, you will receive an email from SEEK Pass asking you to nominate your referees. If you have added a mobile number to your Jobstreet/Jobsdb Profile, you may also receive a WhatsApp notification of your invitation. Please note that SEEK Pass does not send Whatsapp notifications to Australian and New Zealand mobile numbers.
The sender ID for a legitimate SEEK Pass WhatsApp message will be SEEK PASS and the message will contain a secure link that takes you directly to the Reference Check flow to nominate your referees by logging in to your SEEK Pass account.

Please contact our Support team immediately if you receive a WhatsApp message that:
is sent to an Australian or New Zealand mobile number
has a different sender ID
requests personal information or documentation
If you receive a message that is suspicious, do not click on any links in it.
