My passport does not have an NFC chip, can I still verify?

If your passport does not have an NFC chip or the scan fails, you can still complete your Digital Identity verification.

To proceed with verification, please follow the steps below:

1. Scan the photo page of your passport.
2. When prompted to scan your passport's NFC chip, the system will try for up to one minute before it times out. Please let it run its course one time and then tap on the button 'I don't have an e-Passport'. 
   
   
3. Simply follow the prompts to upload an image of your passport and a self-portrait, then submit your check for verification.
